I guess this will be my ‘need to vent a little’ post.
The governor of New Jersey just announced that the ‘stay at home’ order will be in place indefinitely.
I am so over this right now.
It’s not the worse thing in the world to be working from home. I have all the creature comforts here. I can get up when I need to and grab something out of the fridge when I want to or I can stop for a few minutes and watch some TV as a break. I can also take a walk around outside as time permits.
But honestly, it’s starting to not be enough. And I think a lot of you out there can sympathize with me.
All of this is showing me that I don’t think I can work from home permanently. While I can do it during these times of uncertainty, I’m not sure I could do it in a full-time scenario.
I can’t help but think about the businesses that are suffering because of the lockdown situation. There are a number of Chinese restaurants in our area that are completely closed. I don’t know the reasons why but it’s sad just the same. We are doing our best to support any restaurants that are offering take-out or delivery. We are also thinking about ordering take-out from some of our favorite restaurants in our old neighborhood. Fortunately, they aren’t that far away.
Anyway, I thought I would make this a more light-hearted post than I normally do. I do have some other topics I’m researching that are all about the COVID-19 deaths and the push for a vaccine (there’s information about the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation).
I want to add that I’m not trying to scare anyone or push what some people might term ‘fear porn.’ I want to bring to light information that the mainstream media doesn’t report.
Keep your heads up and your spirits high and make sure that you are reaching out to Jesus if you are feeling down. He is always there to comfort you and give you strength. And you can always comment on my blog if you need someplace to vent.
