Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the ability of machines or computer programs to perform tasks that would typically require human intelligence, such as perception, reasoning, learning, and problem-solving. AI systems use algorithms, data, and machine learning techniques to simulate human intelligence and to learn from experience, allowing them to improve their performance over time. Some common examples of AI include speech recognition, image and video recognition, natural language processing, autonomous vehicles, and recommendation systems. AI is a rapidly evolving field with the potential to revolutionize many industries and aspects of daily life.

There are AI programs out there that can be used to create original images of just about anything your mind can imagine and your fingers can type. That’s a pretty cool thing for the average user like you and me, the average person working all day and looking to do something fun to unwind after we get home.

But what about when this is used by someone who is not your average Joe? Like your above-average hacker or the government?

I recently watched a YouTube video by Truthstream Media. It’s a lengthy video and you can watch it here:

It is well worth the watch because it details so many things that AI can do that are, in my opinion, scary.

One of the concepts behind AI is that it is self-learning; that it can take the input given it by its creator and build on it without further intervention. Initially, man is dominant over the machine. But could that change? Could a machine develop enough on its own to become dominant over man? It was only six years ago that two AI machines developed their own language to talk to one another. These machines were eventually shut down.

AI also has the ability to create images of people who don’t exist. That’s right. There are AI platforms that can create photograph quality images of people who don’t exist.

AI can also be used to create a full audio conversation using samples of someone’s voice. A group of engineers created an AI program that mimicked Joe Rogan’s voice and used that to create a podcast that the actual Joe Rogan never made. Imagine if some nefarious group got a hold of a sample of one of us and then created a conversation that never actually took place, implicating us in some kind of crime that we never actually committed.

Some scary stuff, huh?

To bring this full circle, we need to remember what forces are at work here. And this goes back to Ephesians 6:12. No matter what, we will always have our victory in Jesus.

God Bless!
