“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:” (Revelation 12:1 KJV)
On September 23rd of this year, a great sign will appear in the heavens. The constellation Virgo will appear with the constellation Leo just off the top of Virgo. This correlates directly to the Book of Revelation chapter 12.
The constellation Leo is comprised of 9 stars but on Saturday, there will be three additions in Mercury, Mars, and Venus. That is a total of 12 stars that make up the crown on the woman’s (Virgo) head. The sun will be off her left shoulder and the moon will be at her feet. During this time, Jupiter will be in retrograde. It will be wandering around the ‘womb’ of Virgo for approximately 9 months before exiting in the same fashion as a newly born baby.
What does this mean for us? Does it mean that the Rapture will take place on Saturday? Does it mean that Jesus will come back in the Second Coming to wage war against the evils of this planet? I don’t know any of these things for sure and I don’t think we are supposed to. I do know that it is a sign of things yet to come.
To me, it means that we are to always be prepared for the return of Jesus. As Christians, I think some of us tend to become lazy in both our physical and spiritual lives. The Bible tells us to always be prepared. But what if you knew the exact date and time of the Rapture? Would you tend to slack off and then get yourself ready about a week or so before it was to take place? Knowing myself the way I do, I have a feeling that’s what I would do.
But God didn’t give us that time-table. He wants us to always be spiritually prepared. We need to spread the Word to everyone we can while we still can. We need to be the Watchmen on the wall, alerting as many as will listen.
Stay vigilant and stay prepared. If you have not yet repented for your sins, do so now and get right with the Lord while there is still time.
Because you never know when you won’t have the time.
And that’s the way God wants it to be.
