Christianity.
We know that Jesus is the center of our faith.
But do we ever really think about what that all means?
I think Paul said it best when he wrote his letter to the church in Corinth:
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching in vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ; whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised; And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.” (1 Corinthians 15:14-19 KJV).
God sent His Son to use as the ultimate and final sacrifice for our sins. He was the final Passover sacrifice. Through Him, we have forgiveness and eternal life.
Some churches, however, are straying away from this message.
But that’s not what this is about.
This is about an eternal hope in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
On this Easter Sunday, please keep that in mind. Always remember that without Jesus and His death and resurrection, our faith is meaningless. Make Jesus the center of your life and you can assured of an eternal life with Him.
And if you haven’t given your life to Jesus and the saving power of His blood sacrifice, please do so. It’s never too late. And if there was ever a time of year to do it, this week would be perfect. Of course, any day of the week will work but you get the idea. 🙂
This was a short one but I hope that I was able to convey to you how important keeping Jesus in our faith is to our faith.
God Bless!
